About the Role
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and automation processes to support the organization's cloud services and applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Automate and streamline deployment processes.
- Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Document infrastructure and processes.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations for system support.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and best practices.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage and optimize cloud costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address infrastructure needs.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems.
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization.
