Responsibilities
- Design and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows
- Maintain and scale cloud infrastructure across environments
- Automate system provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes
- Ensure system security, compliance, and access controls
- Optimize resource usage and reduce operational costs
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster resilience strategies
- Support containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Maintain version control and deployment tracking systems
- Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Integrate monitoring and alerting tools for proactive incident response
- Participate in incident management and on-call rotations
- Evaluate and introduce new DevOps tools and practices
- Ensure consistent environments from development to production
- Support compliance with internal and external security standards
- Work with distributed teams across time zones
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after system incidents
- Manage secrets and credentials securely across systems
- Optimize build and test pipeline performance
- Support migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
- Enforce code quality and deployment gates in pipelines
- Collaborate on capacity planning and scaling strategies
- Assist developers with environment and deployment challenges
- Promote a culture of observability and operational excellence
