Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters using Cluster API, including upgrades, bare metal provisioning, networking with CNI, storage configuration, autoscaling, and disaster recovery planning.
- Operate and scale an on-premises observability stack including Mimir for metrics, Loki for logs, Tempo for traces, Grafana for dashboards, OpenTelemetry Collectors, and Alertmanager; onboard teams and optimize alerting and ingestion.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD systems using GitLab pipelines and ArgoCD for GitOps-driven Kubernetes deployments, supported by Artifactory for artifact storage and secure secrets integration.
- Develop and support infrastructure automation tools for provisioning and configuration management, enabling self-service capabilities across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with trading and development teams to adopt platform services, creating runbooks, documentation, and scalable support practices.
