Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters across hybrid cloud platforms including GCP, Oracle Cloud, and on-premises data centers.
- Develop and automate CI/CD workflows for microservices and backend applications using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, following GitOps principles across multiple regions and environments.
- Deploy and manage observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK stack.
- Proactively detect and resolve performance, latency, and uptime issues to meet defined service level agreements.
- Take part in on-call duties and lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and postmortem reporting.
- Automate infrastructure operations such as provisioning, scaling, configuration management, and system patching.
- Promote and enforce security standards, compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and best practices for infrastructure resilience.
- Work closely with engineering teams to enhance internal platforms, tooling, and overall development workflow efficiency.
