Employment Hero is looking for a Senior Designer to join our in-house agency, Hero Collective. You will design across digital, brand, and motion to create scroll-stopping content that elevates our brand and performs for our global markets in the UK, APAC, and CA.
What You'll Do
- Design across paid ads, emails, social content, integrated campaigns, landing pages, and occasional print pieces.
- Use AI to unlock new ideas, workflows, and creative outcomes, treating it as a creative amplifier.
- Think in motion, storyboard, and collaborate with motion designers to bring concepts to life.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote-first, async environment across time zones.
- Help evolve the brand toolkit and suggest fresh takes on visual, digital, and social presence.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as a senior designer in an agency or in-house environment.
- Strong portfolio with smart, tasteful, digital-first, brand-led, and results-focused work.
- Proven experience across the full marketing ecosystem and integrated campaigns: OOH, paid and organic social, email, web, motion/video, print, digital.
- Deep knowledge of design principles: typography, layout, colour, and accessibility.
- Strong storyboarding and visual storytelling capabilities.
- Real-world AI experience: prompting, iterating, innovating, and integrating tools into your workflow.
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Premier Pro, or video editing software; comfortable collaborating on motion projects.
- Comfortable with Slack, Asana, Hubspot, Canva, and Google Slides.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, wireframes, and digital flows.
Nice to Have
- Ability to animate motion pieces yourself.
