Domino's Pizza is looking for a Senior Data Governance Engineer to lead and enhance our enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. You will ensure alignment of data standards and drive significant improvements in data quality and usability across the organization, providing thought leadership in shaping our governance frameworks.

What You'll Do

Lead cross-functional working sessions to define enterprise-wide KPIs and metrics.
Resolve conflicts in metric definitions across departments.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
Own the structure and governance of the enterprise data catalog.
Decide which definitions are authoritative and manage versioning.
Define metadata schemas and ensure consistent application across platforms.
Design and document complex data relationships, including many-to-many mappings and hierarchical structures.
Collaborate with data architects to ensure models support analytics and reporting needs.
Review and approve schema changes for governed datasets.
Architect scalable, reusable logic for metric generation across platforms.
Optimize SQL/Python functions for performance and maintainability.
Ensure consistency in metric calculations across business units.
Develop and refine data governance policies, including data quality rules and stewardship models.
Monitor compliance and lead remediation efforts for non-conforming data assets.
Mentor junior analysts on governance best practices.
Create executive-level dashboards to communicate governance maturity and impact.
Develop training materials and lead onboarding sessions for new data stewards.
Present governance strategies and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
