At CareHarmony, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of data platforms and analytics solutions across our legal operations. You will drive cross-functional data initiatives from concept to delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of legal data engineering projects, including scoping, architecture, development, and stakeholder management.
- Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and MS Fabric Notebooks.
- Design and operationalize lakehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
- Oversee the development of Power BI dashboards and semantic models for firm-wide reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with legal operations, finance, and knowledge management teams to align data solutions with business goals.
- Champion data governance, quality, and compliance across all legal data domains.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the firm’s data strategy and AI readiness roadmap.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
- At least 3 years in a law firm or legal services environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks (Data Lake), and Power BI.
- Proven experience leading data projects and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with legal data systems (e.g., time and billing, matter management, DMS).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MS Fabric, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, SQL Server.
- Familiarity with legal tech platforms like Intapp, Foundation, or iManage.
- Certifications in Microsoft Data Engineering or Databricks technologies.
- Experience with medallion architecture and data lakehouse design patterns.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $150,000 to $180,000 USD per annum.
