Match Group is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the data infrastructure that powers our portfolio of leading dating brands. In this role, you will create scalable, reliable systems that enable data-driven decisions across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Architect data models and warehouses to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning
- Implement data governance, quality, and monitoring frameworks
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data needs
- Optimize data systems for performance and cost-efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- Proven expertise designing and building data pipelines using tools like Spark, Airflow, or dbt
- Strong programming skills in Python or Scala
- Deep experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and orchestration tools
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and data modeling
- Ability to lead projects and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional partners
Nice to Have
- Experience with stream processing systems (Kafka, Flink)
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Background in a consumer-facing tech company or high-scale environment
Work Mode
This role follows a hybrid work model based in Dallas, Texas. Team members are expected to work from the office on designated days.
