The Go-To-Markets Data Analytics team is hunting for a skilled Senior Data Engineer who's motivated to deliver killer data-engineering solutions supporting business intelligence, data science, and self-service data capabilities. About the Role: In this role as a Senior Data Engineer, you will: • Design, develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines that blend and transform data across different sources to drive business intelligence, data science, and self-service data solutions. • Work closely with data scientists and data visualization teams to decode data requirements and ensure high-quality data availability for analytics, modeling, and reporting. • Build pipelines that source, transform, and load both structured and unstructured data while keeping data security and access controls front and center. • Dive into large data volumes with curiosity and conviction. • Contribute to the strategy and architecture of data management systems and solutions. • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve data-related performance bottlenecks quickly and efficiently. • Stay open to learning and exploring emerging technologies in data engineering, data science, and cloud computing. • Interrogate data with genuine curiosity, conduct independent research, leverage various techniques, and tackle ambiguous problems head-on. • Shift Timings: 12 PM to 9 PM (IST) • Work from office for 2 days in a week (Mandatory) About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Data Engineer if your background includes: • At least 6-7 years total work experience, with 3+ years specifically in data engineering or analytics domains. • Graduates in data analytics, data science, computer science, software engineering or other data-centric disciplines. • SQL Proficiency (non-negotiable). • Experience with data pipeline and transformation tools like dbt, Glue, FiveTran, Alteryx or similar solutions. • Experience using cloud-based data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure. • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster. • Preferred experience using Amazon Web Services (S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight). • Data modeling knowledge of schemas like snowflake and star. • Track record of building data pipelines and custom automated solutions to accelerate data ingestion, analysis, and visualization. • Knowledge of ETL workflows, database design, and query optimization. • Scripting language experience (Python). • Team player who collaborates across domains and geographies. • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills. • Ability to assimilate new information thoroughly and quickly. • Strong logical and scientific problem-solving approach. • Talent for articulating complex results simply and concisely across all organizational levels. #LI-GS2 What's in it For You? • Hybrid Work Model: Flexible hybrid environment (2-3 office days weekly) with a seamless digital and physical connection. • Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flex My Way policies supporting personal and professional management, including work-from-anywhere for up to 8 weeks annually. • Career Development and Growth: Continuous learning culture preparing talent for future challenges through Grow My Way programming. • Industry Competitive Benefits: Comprehensive plans including flexible vacation, mental health days, Headspace app access, retirement savings, tuition reimbursement, and wellness resources. • Culture: Globally recognized for inclusion, flexibility, and core values like Customer Obsession and Stronger Together. • Social Impact: Two paid volunteer days annually, pro-bono consulting, and ESG initiative opportunities. • Making a Real-World Impact: Helping professionals and institutions pursue justice, truth, and transparency globally.
