JustPlay GmbH is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (all genders) to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and high-performing data infrastructure. You will leverage your technical expertise to design data pipelines, optimize performance, ensure data quality, and collaborate cross-functionally as we work to transform mobile gaming into a truly rewarding experience.

What You'll Do

Support the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure.
Write maintainable, performant code and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate asynchronously and synchronously with other functions to ensure data needs are addressed.
Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation.
Research and develop the most suitable methods to extract, transform, and serve data from and to various sources.
Develop and maintain data quality standards and optimize data performance and scalability.
Learn and experiment with new technologies and concepts to improve overall team performance and data stack.

What We're Looking For

At least 6 years of experience in data engineering.
Expertise in cloud computing platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
Good understanding of software engineering principles (e.g., Git, Docker, code testing).
Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker).
Proficient in SQL and data modeling skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
