Eleos Health is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own the development, maintenance, and operational support of our data platform built on Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. You will split your time between reactive incident resolution and proactive pipeline enhancement.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents, including Control-M job failures and Azure Data Factory pipeline defects.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for production issues and document incident management activities in ServiceNow.
- Manage and maintain the Control-M orchestration layer for ADF data pipelines.
- Develop and implement infrastructure automation scripts and API integrations using Python.
- Identify and refactor inefficient code within data pipelines and participate in peer code reviews via Azure Pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4-5 years professional experience in data engineering or ETL development.
- Advanced, hands-on expertise with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation and API integration.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
- Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and orchestration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD practices using Azure Pipelines.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks and tools, particularly ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with the Azure DevOps suite.
- Previous experience working within a consulting or client-facing environment.
