Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), part of Danaher, is hiring a Senior Customer Technical Support Specialist for a remote 2nd shift position. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to customers for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' Urinalysis/Hematology products, resolving a wide range of issues in a 24/7 support environment. You’ll turn complex diagnostics into customer solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to customers through telephone, email, and video conference.
- Resolve Hardware, Software, Assay, and Training related issues from the existing customer base.
- Provide advanced commercial knowledge and experience to internal and external customers.
- Independently resolve complex and routine issues while mentoring and providing peer assistance.
- Distinguish between hardware, reagent, and software issues to resolve remotely or dispatch the appropriate resource.
What We're Looking For
- Associate, vocational, or equivalent degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry.
- 3+ years of lab or field experience.
- Ability to clearly articulate and provide directions over the phone or via email.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends.
Nice to Have
- Previous troubleshooting experience on electromechanical instrumentation.
- Previous experience in a medical technology call center, or experience in a medical laboratory.
- Experience in a Customer Service environment.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Urinalysis/Hematology CTSO team, reporting to the Urinalysis Supervisor.
