About the Role

AuditBoard is looking for a Senior Counsel, Partnership & Alliances - East to provide legal support for our channel sales organization and global partner programs. In this role, you will be the key legal partner, advising on strategic initiatives and managing the full lifecycle of our partnership agreements.

What You'll Do

  • Provide counsel to the channel sales organization on global partner programs, including advising on legal risks such as anti-bribery, third-party risk, and anti-trust.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate all forms of partnership and alliance agreements, including resale, subcontractor, referral, systems integrator, cloud marketplace, and technology partnership deals.
  • Advise teammates on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
  • Respond promptly to legal advice requests from business teams, communicating legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, negotiation playbooks, contract templates, and legal processes.
  • Triage a heavy workflow, set priorities with internal clients, and deliver results efficiently.
  • Draft and negotiate channel-related agreements, including reseller, referral, professional services, MSP agreements, SOWs, and NDAs.
  • Support channel sales and leadership both domestically and internationally.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of in-house legal experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic alliances, negotiating a high volume of complex partner agreements, supporting partner programs, and advising on laws and regulations impacting channel sales.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • Ability to work independently on a remote basis and as a collaborative member of a team.
  • Strong familiarity with the SaaS business model and channel partnerships at scale.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a technology company.
  • Familiarity with privacy and information security legal issues for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating data protection and information security agreements.
  • Experience working with Distributors and in International Markets.
