Ashby is hiring a SENIOR CONSULTANT SAP S/4HANA to join our team in Lithuania. You will take a senior leadership role within our SAP consulting team, focusing on the design, governance, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA business and technical roles for complex transformation programs in the automotive and manufacturing industries. You will be responsible for defining a scalable role architecture, mapping end-to-end business processes into secure and efficient business roles, and ensuring compliance with global design principles.
What You'll Do
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer S/4HANA on Premise and Cloud implementation projects.
- Lead the design and governance of SAP Business Roles and Technical Roles across S/4HANA business areas (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, PS, etc.).
- Define and maintain global role design principles, business role templates, and naming conventions for multi-country rollouts.
- Facilitate business workshops to gather access requirements and translate business processes into role concepts.
- Design and build Fiori catalogs, spaces, pages, groups, and app mappings, including OData and UI5 authorizations.
- Develop end-to-end authorization concepts: object-level design, context-based restrictions, structural permissions, attribute-based access.
- Support segregation-of-duties (SoD) analysis, risk mitigation, and alignment with SAP GRC Access Control.
- Collaborate with IAM/IDM teams to integrate business roles into provisioning workflows (IAS/IPS, IDM, Azure AD).
- Lead authorization testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT, negative testing).
- Govern transport quality, manage authorization-related QA gates, and ensure consistency across lifecycle environments.
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare with expert-level troubleshooting and remediation.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to mid-level consultants and act as a subject matter expert for S/4HANA role architecture.
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in IT, information systems, cybersecurity, or comparable field.
- Fluent English.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP Security & Authorizations.
- At least 3–5 years in S/4HANA role design.
- Proven experience designing Business Roles using SAP Fiori role-building methodologies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they translate into role needs (P2P, O2C, MTS/MTO, Finance closing, etc.).
- Strong expertise in: Fiori launchpad configuration (catalogs, spaces, pages), app mapping and OData authorizations, authorization object structures, SU24 management.
- Solid experience with SAP GRC AC (ARA, BRM, ARM, EAM) including SoD management.
- Experience supporting global templates, multi-entity deployments, and complex landscape integrations.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, translate business requirements, and develop robust role concepts.
- Strong documentation discipline and familiarity with governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex security topics in business-friendly language.
- High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen.
- Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing, mentoring, decision making and meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services.
- We expect travel readiness and communication skills with different stakeholders.
- Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.
Nice to Have
- German skills beneficial.
- Ideally experienced in working in virtual teams and international environment.
- Experience with SAP BTP security and cloud identity services.
- Knowledge of audit and compliance frameworks (ISO/SOX).
