Sheriff Security GmbH is looking for a Senior Consultant Cybersecurity (w/m/d) to join our small, motivated team. Your mission is to make cybersecurity simple, understandable, and practical for our SME clients. You will take on a role with high personal responsibility, shaping how businesses secure their digital environments.
What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate IT security audits and external technical services.
- Communicate with customers (IT management, executives) and technical partners & service providers.
- Support the analysis of security levels against standards like NIS2 and ISO 27001.
- Conduct simple security checks and document the results.
- Develop individual action recommendations tailored for SMEs.
- Contribute to the creation of offers, contracts, and project documents.
- Build a partner network with cybersecurity specialists.
- Participate in strategic meetings and occasional team workshops.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or training in IT, business, law, or a comparable field.
- Practical experience in information security, IT support, or IT consulting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., ISMS, penetration tests, NIS2, awareness).
- Confident demeanor in customer conversations and an affinity for consulting topics.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Very good German (C1) and English (min. B2) language skills.
- Willingness for occasional travel.
Nice to Have
- Existing contacts with security providers.
- Experience with contracts or compliance.
