TrustFlight is seeking a Senior Consultant to make a significant difference for our customers across our Consulting, Training, and Managed Services proposition. This role is pivotal to delivering our strategy, continuously improving our portfolio, and exploiting the SMARRT MAP™ framework.
What You'll Do
- Understand and deliver against agreed client needs as identified by the Business Development Manager.
- Define project plans, budgets, key milestones, and delivery timescales.
- Ensure profitable delivery of projects (targeting 60% GPR).
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective project delivery and manage post-project reviews.
- Manage consultants assigned to your projects for performance and outcomes.
- Deliver against, manage, and assure standards for technical delivery, reporting, and quality.
- Continuously improve the client experience through our Quality Management System.
- Ensure products and services are developed, maintained, and managed according to our standards.
- Act as the owner of an area of SMARRT MAP™ or as a product owner for training and consulting services.
- Support Business Development with pre-sales meetings to scope customer needs and propose solutions.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote collaborative working and Trusted Advisor status.
- Deliver successful and profitable client projects which drive satisfaction, reputational status, and account growth.
- Provide technical support for consultant development plans, conduct competence checks, and manage technical sign-off.
- Provide mentoring and on-the-job support to consultants for their professional development.
- Contribute to technical competence development by leading continuing professional development sessions.
- Lead, participate in, and contribute to industry working groups.
- Continually challenge industry and the market to drive world-leading thinking.
- Monitor and communicate changes in the industry and market affecting the business.
- Provide subject-specific output to support sales and marketing, such as thought leadership.
- Be an ambassador for change, championing sustainable cultural and behavioural change.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in programme and project management for large-scale client work.
- Proven ability to deliver profitable projects and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing consultant teams for performance.
- Deep understanding of quality management systems and process assurance.
- Experience in product development and lifecycle management (“cradle to grave”).
- Ability to support business development through pre-sales scoping and solution design.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, fostering collaborative working and trusted advisor relationships.
- Strong industry and market intelligence, with the ability to monitor and communicate relevant changes.
- Experience in mentoring, technical coaching, and competence assessment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and championing positive change.
Team & Environment
The Consulting team structure includes four levels: Managing Principal Consultant, Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consultant.
