Moog is hiring a Senior Collaboration Engineer to coordinate, design, implement, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. You will lead complex projects and work alongside cross-functional teams to develop collaboration strategies aligned with our company goals.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the delivery of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Teams Voice, Exchange, Project, and on-prem SharePoint (Subscription Edition) in a hybrid environment.
- Lead complex Microsoft 365 projects, such as integration via acquisitions and divestitures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement collaboration and messaging strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide Level III support for Microsoft 365 Services, including guidance and training.
- Ensure collaboration and messaging systems are secure, compliant, and meet company standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation and guides for all responsible platform solutions and related processes.
- Engage with the business, internal IT teams, and third parties to solve complex collaboration problems.
- Stay current on new features and capabilities, recommending improvements to enhance collaboration and messaging.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Over eight (8) years of professional IT experience in a similar role.
- Over five (5) years managing collaboration and messaging systems with a focus on Microsoft 365.
- Expertise in configuration, deployment, governance, and management of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Teams Voice, Exchange, SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises (Subscription Edition), OneDrive, and related tools.
- Expertise in configuration, deployment, governance, and management of Power Platform tools, such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Entra.
- A demonstrated understanding of collaboration best practices, communication strategies, and change management principles.
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices related to collaboration and messaging systems.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sharegate & SharePoint Online migration tools.
- Proficiency in writing and executing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and manage SharePoint Environments.
- Understanding of non-Microsoft conferencing and file storage solutions, such as Zoom for Government and Box.
- Experience with SharePoint SPFX and PowerFX language.
