Responsibilities
- Foster a customer-centric environment within the team to strengthen client engagement and utilize enterprise-wide resources and expertise.
- Create and maintain cloud infrastructure through code using Terraform for consistent and reproducible deployments on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and support automation tools and scripts in Python to minimize manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud networking architectures on Google Cloud Platform, including virtual private clouds, firewall rules, and load distribution.
- Operate and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and optimal use of computing resources.
- Enforce strong security practices and manage secrets effectively to safeguard critical data and cloud assets.
- Promote and apply GitOps methodologies for continuous delivery, using tools such as Argo CD or Flux to handle deployment workflows.
- Advance Site Reliability Engineering practices by establishing and tracking key metrics like Service Level Indicators and Objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and refine CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and automated software releases.
- Lead incident management for cloud environments, conduct root cause investigations, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
