Jobgether is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to own the security of our cloud-native SaaS platforms. You will work 100% remotely with a global team of security professionals to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and PaaS platforms.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and PaaS platforms.
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to integrate security into infrastructure-as-code pipelines (Terraform, Spacelift, CI/CD).
Lead cloud vulnerability and risk management programs, including threat detection, response, and remediation strategies.
Conduct threat modeling, architectural reviews, and security evaluations for new and existing services.
Own end-to-end cloud security controls, ensuring monitoring, governance, and compliance standards are met.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive security awareness, best practices, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance during incidents, including forensic analysis and postmortem evaluation to strengthen platform resilience.

What We're Looking For

Extensive experience in cloud security engineering, with deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
Proven background in securing SaaS platforms and cloud-hosted environments.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Spacelift) and CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Git).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation, log analysis, and remediation.
Strong understanding of cloud-native security tooling, identity management, logging, and policy enforcement.
Experience with incident response processes, vulnerability management, and threat detection/prevention.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills, particularly in remote or distributed teams.
Familiarity with compliance standards and a flexible, risk-based approach to security.
