Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of containerized platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability tools for cloud systems
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Maintain compliance with security and operational standards
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency
- Support incident response and on-call rotations
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
- Contribute to disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud-native technologies
- Work closely with developers to improve platform usability
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce configuration management across environments
- Manage access controls and identity policies
- Ensure platform consistency across staging and production
- Stay current with cloud and container ecosystem developments
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Support platform audits and compliance checks
- Coordinate with security teams on vulnerability remediation
