Camunda is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Kubernetes (East Coast-Remote)

About the Role

Camunda is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will focus on designing, maintaining, and improving our Kubernetes-based infrastructure and multi-cloud platform, ensuring availability, scalability, and fault tolerance for our global SaaS offering.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and multi-cloud platform, focusing on availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Implement and enhance monitoring tools to provide visibility into the health and performance of the entire stack.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, improve, and efficiently ship new features.
  • Provide 3rd level support for critical incidents and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency across the platform.
  • Expand Camunda SaaS capabilities through projects like multi-region offerings and new cloud provider availability.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go) for automation and tooling development.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, New Relic – or similar).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates based on the East Coast of the United States.
