At Capgemini, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that optimize the operation, deployment, and scalability of our cloud environments. Your primary responsibility will be to build Infrastructure-as-Code components, automate provisioning processes, and enhance existing configuration management workflows.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions leveraging Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Create, enhance, and maintain IaC modules for cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
- Automate deployment, configuration, provisioning, and operational workflows.
- Support and develop cloud infrastructure components with a strong automation-first mindset.
- Write and maintain code/scripts to support automation pipelines.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, DevOps teams, and other technical stakeholders to improve and standardize automation practices.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in automation and configuration management using Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with other provisioning/configuration tools (Puppet, Chef, OpenStack).
- Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Agile / Lean methodologies in practice.
- Knowledge of cluster storage technologies.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration.
- Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS, DCA.
