AgencyAnalytics is hiring a Senior Cloud Developer to manage our infrastructure, deployment pipeline, and observability stack. In this role, you'll support the efficiency and execution of our product teams by designing and implementing scalable, reliable systems on GCP.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable infrastructure on GCP.
- Own and evolve our Infrastructure as Code practices, ensuring our environments are reproducible, auditable, and developer-friendly.
- Champion our observability stack - building and maintaining instrumentation, tracing, metrics, and alerting using OpenTelemetry and related tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents and driving blameless post-mortems to improve system resilience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development teams to ensure infrastructure keeps pace with product needs.
- Set and drive infrastructure standards and tooling across the engineering organization.
- Help drive AI tool adoption across Engineering.
- Mentor engineers on cloud-native best practices, operational discipline, and infrastructure design patterns.
- Balance quality, stability, and delivery across initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years in a senior cloud or infrastructure engineering role, with a track record of owning and shipping production infrastructure.
- Deep hands-on experience with GCP services, Kubernetes (cluster management, workload deployment, networking), and Cloud SQL (MySQL).
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills - Terraform or equivalent - with an emphasis on maintainability and reuse.
- Solid understanding of observability principles and practical experience with OpenTelemetry (tracing, metrics, logs) and related tooling.
- Experience building and managing deployment pipelines. We use ArgoCD + GitHub Actions.
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities.
- Experience architecting cloud systems that balance performance, cost, and operational simplicity.
- You've embraced AI coding tools like Claude, using them daily.
- A collaborative mindset. You work openly across teams, share context freely, and make the people around you better.
