About the Role
This role involves leading the development and implementation of clinical data solutions, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support clinical trial operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines for clinical trial datasets
- Collaborate with data managers and statisticians to define data requirements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in data handling and processing
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows for structured and semi-structured data
- Troubleshoot data integration issues across multiple source systems
- Support validation of data transformations and reporting outputs
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring procedures
- Work with clinical databases using CDISC, SDTM, and ADaM standards
- Optimize database performance for large-scale clinical datasets
- Document technical specifications and data architecture designs
- Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance processes
- Contribute to the selection and deployment of data engineering tools
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in data engineering
- Stay current with evolving healthcare data regulations and technologies
- Coordinate with global teams to align data strategies across regions
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical or life sciences field
- Experience working with real-world data or observational datasets
- Background in oncology or complex therapeutic areas
- Certification in CDISC standards or clinical data management
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools
- Knowledge of machine learning applications in clinical data
- Prior work with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
