Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to drive meaningful impact by leading the analysis and delivery of complex business and technology initiatives. In this remote UK role, you will engage with senior stakeholders, shape innovative solutions, and bridge business needs with technology capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead full lifecycle business analysis across strategic programs and high-impact projects.
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit, challenge, and refine requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process models, and functional specifications.
- Drive process reengineering and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Managers to shape solutions and prioritize backlogs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leveraging structured analysis and insights to guide decisions.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Support change management and business readiness activities for smooth adoption of solutions.
- Promote best practices in business analysis while mentoring junior colleagues and enhancing team capability.
What We're Looking For
- At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven success delivering complex projects in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments.
- Strong expertise in business architecture, process modeling (BPMN), and requirements engineering.
- Background working with cross-functional teams in enterprise or regulated settings.
- Degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including with C-level executives.
- Advanced facilitation and negotiation abilities to align diverse perspectives.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, and Google Suite.
- Comfortable working independently, prioritizing multiple initiatives, and navigating ambiguity.
