This role presents an opportunity to architect the backend of a high-performance SaaS platform supporting a globally recognized observability and analytics ecosystem. You will engage in developing and maintaining a multi-tenant, scalable backend that supports both open-source and proprietary applications. The position demands hands-on coding, operational precision, and cross-team collaboration to deliver seamless, reliable experiences for millions of global users. You will also contribute to system architecture, guide engineering talent, and actively participate in on-call rotations to guarantee system stability. Accountabilities: · Develop and optimize new features and operational performance of backend systems. · Engage in architectural design discussions, author comprehensive design documents, and critically review peer contributions. · Collaborate across organizational teams to synchronize work with product roadmaps and customer requirements. · Mentor and support team members, cultivating knowledge sharing and technical advancement. · Take ownership of customer experience through weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities. · Ensure changes are implemented safely and efficiently within a high-scale, multi-tenant environment. · Continuously enhance backend processes, reliability, and scalability while addressing distributed systems complexities. Requirements: · Strong coding competencies with hands-on operational experience maintaining self-built systems. · Proven experience constructing and operating SaaS platforms at scale, including multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability. · Deep understanding of distributed systems and associated challenges. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation. · Demonstrated ability to work across teams, aligning technical solutions with broader organizational objectives. · Pragmatic approach with capacity to manage ambiguity and prioritize progress over theoretical perfection. · Proficiency in Golang or demonstrated willingness to rapidly acquire expertise. · Valid eligibility to work in U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
