This opportunity is available for an Application Developer in the United States. The role provides a chance to develop and sustain critical applications in a dynamic operational environment. The Application Developer will collaborate closely with technical teams, analysts, and designers to create, implement, and maintain software solutions addressing evolving business requirements. The position demands comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles, secure coding methodologies, and Agile/Scrum frameworks. You will have opportunities to generate reusable tools, optimize system performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Accountabilities: · Construct, code, evaluate, troubleshoot, and document software applications aligned with technical specifications and business requirements. · Contribute to developing reusable software tools and subsystems to enhance efficiency and support domain analysis. · Collaborate with analysts and designers to transform user requirements into detailed programming specifications. · Create and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and technical guides for users and support personnel. · Perform application testing, diagnose issues, and generate performance and maintenance reports. · Implement secure development practices and adhere to DevSecOps principles throughout software development. · Participate in Agile/Scrum team activities and provide technical expertise during sustainment and modernization initiatives. Requirements: · 5+ years of comprehensive software development experience, covering entire development lifecycle. · Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, C#, Java, and additional relevant programming languages. · Comprehensive knowledge of application design, testing, documentation standards, and secure coding practices (STIG, OWASP). · Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments. · Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. · Eligible for NACLC and IT-II security clearance. · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong team collaboration abilities. · Preferred: Security+ CE or relevant computing environment certifications; background in DoD projects.
