Responsibilities
- Architect, plan, and develop core features as a key contributor within a high-performing engineering team
- Deliver customer value quickly by deploying features daily to an AWS-hosted SaaS platform using automated CI/CD workflows
- Serve as a technical and product resource for your team and across departments
- Think strategically about the future of engineering initiatives and their broader impact
- Communicate clearly about project progress and technical challenges
- Engage in agile practices and help evolve team processes for greater effectiveness
- Assist in maintaining and supporting live production systems
- Contribute to a team culture that values growth, inclusivity, and mutual support
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience developing SaaS applications
- Proficient in Python with a strong commitment to building robust, production-grade software
- Sufficient knowledge of frontend technologies like React to assist when needed
- Expertise in relational data modeling and interest in exploring other database systems, including columnar databases
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and cloud AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker
- Skilled in using AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and Kiro, with a history of accelerating development cycles
- Background in or strong interest in growth-stage startups
- Naturally inquisitive—excels at identifying problems, defining solutions, aligning teams, and driving execution
- Enthusiastic about learning and sharing knowledge with others
- Excellent communication skills with a preference for teamwork and collaboration
