Tether Operations Limited is hiring a Senior Backend Developer - Node.js to build and maintain the backend components for our critical services. You will be instrumental in developing new features, ensuring platform scalability, and implementing high-security standards. You'll join a global team pioneering a financial revolution where transparency is foundational.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical architectures.
- Improve existing core backend services written in NodeJS.
- Implement new solutions that interact with different core services through RPC calls.
- Write complex database queries for compliance and financial purposes.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional Node/JavaScript skills.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Active participation in the development of a complex platform.
- Good experience in interacting with databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Good understanding of security practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with blockchain integration.
- Comfort with high-availability concepts.
- Ruby and Rails experience.
- Familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
