ília is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join a team focused on distributed applications, high scalability, and large transaction volumes. We are looking for someone with systemic vision, technical excellence, and leadership in architectural evolution to ensure quality, performance, and sound engineering practices.
What You'll Do
- Develop and evolve back-end services using Java with a focus on Quarkus.
- Work with microservices architectures and event-driven designs.
- Design and maintain REST and/or gRPC APIs.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure high performance and scalability in mission-critical environments.
- Implement automated tests (unit, integration, and e2e).
- Contribute to refactoring, continuous improvement, and architectural evolution.
- Work in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate within agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
- Support technical decisions related to distributed applications.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced English for communication in technical environments.
- Solid experience with back-end development in Java, using modern frameworks like Quarkus.
- Experience developing microservices and communication via REST and gRPC.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Experience with containers and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with code versioning using Git and collaborative best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or Testcontainers and applying best practices like TDD or BDD.
- Experience with distributed applications, high scalability, and high-volume transactional systems.
- Experience with Cloud and platforms like OpenShift.
Nice to Have
- Experience with observability (Tracing, Metrics, Logging).
- Proficiency with tools like OpenAPI and Swagger for API documentation.
