Woundlocal is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to own the design, development, and maintenance of our core backend systems that support a mobile wound care practice. You will focus on building scalable API integrations and collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to ship impactful new features.

What You'll Do

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to define and design new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
Strong understanding of web security standards and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
