Requirements

  • Eight years of professional back-end development experience
  • Ten years of hands-on work with object-oriented programming languages
  • Five years of direct experience using PHP, including versions 8 and above
  • Extensive expertise in MySQL, covering query optimization, indexing, and schema design
  • Proven background with caching technologies such as Memcached and Redis
  • Demonstrated ability to design and enhance systems handling high traffic and throughput
  • Solid grasp of web development principles and HTTP protocol mechanics
  • Familiarity with Linux server environments, including command-line navigation, log analysis, and resolving live issues
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Readiness to engage in diverse projects, even when code quality is suboptimal

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of video-related technologies, container formats, codecs, and live streaming protocols
  • Experience configuring and tuning NGINX for performance
  • Background using WebSocket to enable real-time communication
  • Skill in BASH scripting and system automation tasks
  • Knowledge of core networking concepts
  • Familiarity with static code analysis tools like PHPStan and adherence to modern PHP standards
