Valtech is looking for a Senior Back End AEM Developer to develop robust Adobe Experience Manager solutions focused on client needs. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code and understanding the full project and software development lifecycle, delivering performant AEM solutions within client deadlines and budgets.
What You'll Do
- Work with project managers, business analysts, QA teams, and solution architects to deliver high-quality, performant AEM solutions on time and within budget.
- Bring solutions to backend problems following AEM best practices.
- Create elegant and performant code on the AEM platform.
- Engage in story refinement and requirement analysis.
- Develop solutions according to user stories.
- Follow agile methodology.
- Create clear, maintainable projects, documentation, prototypes, and other technical deliverables.
- Ensure secure development techniques and compliance with standards.
- Improve technical aspects of the product by identifying issues in architecture, performance, code, or process.
- Participate in development/enhancement activities based on the project proposed by the architect/technical lead.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience working with Back End development and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Knowledge of agile principles – scrum, backlog, sprint, etc.
- Experience with Git.
- Proven professional experience in AEM development.
- Experience in Java development.
- Experience with Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.
- Experience building components: HTL and SPA, Dialogs, Sling Model, Client libs, Sling Resource merger.
- Experience creating and configuring editable templates and policies.
- Experience creating Sling Servlets and OSGi Services.
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience managing AEM assets.
- Experience consuming third-party APIs.
- User access management, ACL configurations.
- Knowledge of Workflows.
- Implementation of unit tests.
Nice to Have
- AEM Developer certification or other related certification.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns.
