Responsibilities
- Architect and manage AWS cloud environments to support enterprise applications
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure cloud platforms meet security, compliance, and audit requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance
- Monitor system health and proactively address performance bottlenecks
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning in the cloud
- Automate operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues
- Maintain documentation for cloud configurations and operational procedures
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud services and technologies
- Lead cloud cost optimization efforts and resource governance
- Enforce identity and access management policies across AWS accounts
- Design and manage multi-account AWS environments using best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines with secure and reliable deployment strategies
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for production issues
- Ensure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems are fully operational
- Work with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Promote cloud security posture through configuration hardening and policy enforcement
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise across teams
- Stay current with evolving AWS services and cloud-native architectures
