About the Role
The Senior Attorney will lead legal initiatives, advise on compliance, contracts, and corporate matters, and support business growth while mitigating risk across domestic and international operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiation and drafting for vendors, partners, and customers
- Advise internal teams on regulatory compliance and data privacy laws
- Manage intellectual property portfolio and enforcement strategies
- Support corporate governance and board-level reporting requirements
- Oversee legal aspects of product development and commercialization
- Provide guidance on employment law and workplace policies
- Collaborate with external counsel on litigation and dispute resolution
- Develop and deliver legal training to non-legal staff
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and financing activities
- Draft and maintain company policies and standard legal templates
- Evaluate legal risks associated with new business initiatives
- Ensure adherence to export controls and international trade laws
- Manage outside legal expenses and law firm relationships
- Support crisis management and incident response efforts
- Advise on privacy compliance including CCPA and GDPR
- Handle customer disputes and enforce contractual rights
- Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance
- Support international expansion and cross-border operations
- Maintain legal entity records and corporate filings
- Coordinate with compliance officers on regulatory audits
- Assist in developing commercial strategies within legal frameworks
- Oversee trademark and domain name registrations
