As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will play a central role in shaping how security is embedded throughout the development process. Your work will focus on designing and maintaining robust, code-driven security tools that scale with the organization. You'll integrate proactive security measures directly into CI/CD systems, ensuring resilience without slowing innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal security tooling with an emphasis on automation and long-term scalability
- Integrate security controls into existing and future CI/CD pipelines to enforce secure-by-design principles
- Create and refine AI and large language model-enhanced workflows, including automated code review, risk correlation, and developer guidance systems
- Extend and manage APIs and managed cloud platforms (MCPs) for SaaS environments
- Produce clear, actionable reports for both technical teams and leadership, tailored to audience needs
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent hands-on experience. A minimum of three years in application security, DevSecOps, or secure software engineering is required, with at least five years total in cybersecurity.
Proficiency in Golang and Python is essential, along with proven experience analyzing complex software systems for logic, performance, and architectural risks. You must have strong AWS knowledge and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and service-oriented architectures. A solid grasp of operating systems—including Linux, Windows, and macOS—and networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and secure design is required.
We also look for a deep understanding of core security concepts: authentication, authorization, cryptography, secure communications, and common vulnerability patterns. The ideal candidate can assess system risks, propose scalable solutions, and communicate findings effectively across engineering and executive teams.
