eBay is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to work on innovative ad-tech solutions that optimize ad monetization and experience for millions of users. You will join a collaborative team working closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to revolutionize the advertising space.
What You'll Do
- Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks.
- Integrate closely with colleagues in different functional groups and remote offices.
- Communicate effectively within your team and across teams.
- Contribute to technical conversations and debates, and decide upon approaches and tools to utilize.
- Balance strong ownership and teamwork.
- Research, innovate, deliver and grow.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 8+ years work experience or MS with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing Android applications & commercial software with Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with Android Studio, GIT, Jira, profilers, Gradle and debuggers.
- Experience integrating with web services & using HTTP, TCP/IP and databases.
- Experience working with GraphQL.
- Experience with Unit-testing.
- Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms.
Nice to Have
- Code samples from private github repos, side projects, and open source project contributions.
