Accesa is looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join our team working on projects for a German full-service payments provider. You will develop cashless transaction solutions, ranging from new features to system modernization, within an Agile framework.
What You'll Do
- Research, design, write, and test mobile applications using Agile methodologies.
- Support tech community improvement by fostering CI/CD practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and collaboratively evolve the product.
- Identify and resolve challenges to ensure project progress.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a professional software engineering role with Android.
- Experience with Android development using Kotlin and Java, leveraging Jetpack components and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Koin for dependency injection, Retrofit & Gson for networking, and Coroutines.
- Solid testing background with JUnit, Robolectric, Mockito, and Mockk.
- Experience with UI design using XML, Gradle DSL, and maintaining code quality with Lint.
- Experience applying clean architecture and patterns like MVP, MVVM, and MVI.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-module projects, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and modern deployment.
- Exposure to localization workflows and analytics platforms like Matomo.
- Hands-on experience with Hilt, Work Manager, Paging, and Lottie animations.
- German language skills.
