Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, privacy-centric mobile apps for Android platforms
- Quickly build and refine product features to test hypotheses and achieve product-market fit
- Offer expert guidance on application architecture, coding standards, and engineering methodologies
- Improve team velocity and code stability by advancing engineering excellence
- Work closely with design, backend, and product colleagues to plan and launch new capabilities
- Develop and integrate APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL-based services
- Create efficient, modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose
- Use Kotlin Coroutines and Flow to implement clear and sustainable business logic
- Implement robust offline data storage with tools like Room or Realm
- Diagnose and fix intricate issues throughout the application stack
- Write well-structured, scalable code aligned with MVVM and Clean Architecture principles
- Perform unit testing using behavior-driven or test-driven approaches, covering edge cases
- Engage in code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Incorporate AI-powered tools into daily development workflows
- Support multiple engineering teams and product domains as the company grows
