GE Appliances is looking for a Senior Analyst, Data Privacy to be a technical driver for our enterprise privacy program. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into configured systems and automated workflows, primarily owning and developing our OneTrust data privacy platform. What You'll Do
- Convert data privacy business requirements into processes, software specifications, product configurations, and integrations.
- Handle Data Subject Requests (DSRs), maintain completion metrics, and share technical know-how on integrations in Google Cloud Platform and OneTrust.
- Work directly with the Chief Privacy Officer, DT Enterprise Architects, and functional teams on design decisions, technology choices, and timelines.
- Facilitate the configuration and testing of cookie banners considering regulatory needs across several US states.
- Guide website owners on OneTrust feature implementation in Cookie banners.
- Learn and enrich Privacy functional knowledge and enabling technologies.
- Assist the Privacy Program Manager on implementing a Privacy Program Maturity Score using the NIST privacy framework.
- Own, configure, integrate, and test the enterprise-wide OneTrust data privacy software platform.
- Enhance functional knowledge in Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Cookie compliance areas.
- Automate processes through software development, including automating manual work using data integrations.
- Define and execute work plans, including leading reviews for PIA applicability on new funding requests involving personal data.
- Lead the Cookie Compliance module implementation and maintenance in OneTrust.
- Understand business needs, develop compliance-aiding processes, and maintain SOP documentation for cookie scans.
- Manage project tasks and resources, serving as the primary owner of the PIA module in OneTrust.
- Understand business needs for PIA process changes, define and execute work plans to configure and test those changes in OneTrust.
- Maintain project rigor and communication, update tasks in respective tools, and supervise newly submitted IT projects for PIA applicability.
- Maintain rigor of timely communications, monitor, track, and report PIA completion metrics.
- Ensure system availability and reliability by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the PIA module.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a related occupation.
- 3 years of experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting the OneTrust data privacy platform, including the Data Subject Requests Handling and Integrations modules.
- 3 years of experience supporting a user base of a minimum of 20 users on the OneTrust platform.
- 2 years of experience with software development, testing, and rollout using Python, Java, CSS, and REST APIs.
- 2 years of experience with AWS Lambda and GCP Cloud Functions.
- 2 years of experience with Code Management technology and Deployment technology.
- 1 year of experience with data analysis or reporting using SQL queries, Power BI, Tableau, or R.
