saas.group is hiring a Senior AI Engineer

saas.group is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, evaluate, and ship AI solutions that power products used by hundreds of thousands of users across our portfolio. In this end-to-end role, you will collaborate with product teams to translate user needs into solutions, run experiments, and deliver reliable systems to production.

What You'll Do

• Deliver end-to-end AI solutions from exploring opportunities to designing architectures, running experiments, and supporting deployment.
• Build production-grade software in Python (APIs, mostly FastAPI) and develop simple data pipelines.
• Work across GenAI and conventional ML, choosing the right methods for each problem.
• Develop reusable AI capabilities like services, libraries, and best practices that scale across brands.
• Collaborate closely with AI teammates, sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Prototype and validate ideas quickly by creating POCs.
• Uphold quality and best practices by writing clean, well-documented code and ensuring peer reviews.

What We're Looking For

• Proven end-to-end delivery of AI features to production, owning the lifecycle from problem framing to post-launch iteration.
• 5+ years building production software in Python, with APIs (mostly FastAPI), testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Hands-on applied AI expertise with conventional ML and GenAI/LLMs, including integrating multiple LLM providers, working with vector databases, and using frameworks like LangChain.
• Solid SQL skills, ability to build simple pipelines, define success metrics, design experiments, and make decisions from results.
• Docker fluency, CI/CD awareness, logging and monitoring basics, and good habits for versioning prompts, models, and datasets.
• Clear communication with stakeholders, thoughtful documentation, and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.

Team & Environment

You will join our Central AI Team, part of a nearly 350+ colleague remote team. You'll collaborate with product and brand teams and DevOps engineers.
