EX Squared is hiring a Senior Accounting Director to lead and manage our accounting function in a fully remote environment. This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing global accounting operations.
What You'll Do
- Direct and oversee the accounting function for global operations.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and guidance to leadership.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in a senior-level or director role.
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proven experience managing a global accounting function.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
