What You'll Do
Oversee the delivery of security operations projects by defining technical scope, creating project plans, and shaping requirements for your team. Lead performance evaluations and support the professional growth of security engineers through hands-on coaching and guidance. Act as the primary technical liaison for key clients, ensuring alignment between business needs and security solutions.
Stay current with advancements in SOC technologies, including detection engineering, automation, and incident response. Translate client objectives into actionable technical roadmaps and contribute to internal innovation initiatives. Maintain a strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and log onboarding practices to guide effective implementations.
Requirements
- Hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a SOC environment, with a focus on structuring operations or managing security projects
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and experience building technical teams
- Show deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, principles, and detection methodologies
- Have working experience with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint detection technologies
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English and at least one official language of Belgium
- Manage multiple priorities with precision in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, GCFA, or equivalent
