Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Security Officer to join our Property Management team. In this onsite role based in Gurugram, HR, you will ensure all aspects of Security and Fire Safety are managed during your shift in consultation with the Security/Property Manager.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and update Security Policies and Procedures, establishing specific security programs.
- Supervise Security and Fire safety staff, assign work, and provide weekly/monthly training on procedures, fire safety, and first aid.
- Ensure complete documentation and police verification of vendor security personnel, auditing contractors for compliance.
- Conduct security investigations and prepare incident reports.
- Track material movement and manage the Lost and Found stock.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently, including fire, evacuations, and human crises, ensuring an effective disaster management plan and Emergency Response Team are in place.
- Conduct Security Risk Assessments and plan effective Guarding Strategies.
- Conduct mock drills on medical emergencies, bomb threats, riots, and other scenarios.
- Carry out weekly meetings with vendor operations heads and share minutes with the Property Manager and client.
- Maintain clear communication with the client SPOC regarding events, incidents, team concerns, and recommendations.
- Conduct reviews of after-hours security reports and monitor performance.
- Develop liaison with government agencies such as local Police and Fire Services.
- Prepare monthly security MIS reports.
- Keep updated by attending training sessions and reviewing publications to remain current on principles and new developments.
