Responsibilities
- Analyze and audit code within the vehicle software platform to detect security flaws using automated testing tools.
- Lead security verification and validation programs and act as the primary contact for related initiatives.
- Establish test environments for penetration testing and risk analysis in automotive contexts.
- Actively contribute to resolving security issues by implementing short-term fixes and coordinating long-term solutions with software teams.
- Support the design of secure vehicle software platforms and connected vehicle system architectures.
- Perform direct security testing and evaluate risks to classify and prioritize threats and bugs.
- Evaluate different risk mitigation approaches and recommend prioritized actions based on impact.
- Collaborate across business units to build secure automotive products aligned with ISO 21434 and UN R155 standards.
- Partner with software, security, and systems engineering teams to integrate and improve security practices.
- Engage with customers to ensure the delivery of secure automotive solutions.
