Take on a hands-on role as a Security Engineer Intern during a 12-week program starting in early December 2026. What You'll Do
- Partner with a dedicated team to design, build, test, and maintain a security-focused project from concept to completion
- Help document development workflows, best practices, and technical procedures
- Explore and apply emerging security technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve platform resilience
- Investigate potential vulnerabilities across infrastructure and cloud environments
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across disciplines to deliver secure, high-quality solutions
- Learn how security controls are implemented in compute, platform, and cloud systems
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program with expected completion between 2027 and mid-2028
- Based in Australia or New Zealand with valid work authorization
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Golang, Python, or Java
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and teams
- Openness to using AI thoughtfully to enhance productivity and problem-solving
- Full-time availability from early December 2026 to late February 2027
