Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the security team to advance capabilities in vulnerability management, threat identification, and incident handling while supporting team development.
- Analyze and prioritize security alerts, lead incident response efforts, contain threats, restore systems, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Enhance systems that detect and respond to threats across cloud environments, external integrations, and internal platform services.
- Create and improve security workflows, protocols, and response guides to support scalable security operations as the organization expands.
- Configure and optimize AWS security tools including IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Config for monitoring, access management, and threat detection.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Corporate Security, and Governance teams to evaluate risks, identify weaknesses, and recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Guide development teams in secure design by facilitating threat modeling, reviewing system architectures, and evaluating code or configuration changes for security risks.
- Address emerging security issues proactively and promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
