EX Squared is looking for a Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our information systems by monitoring for security threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various sources
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Implement and maintain security controls and tools
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT and development teams on security initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
- Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques (OWASP Top 10)
- Familiarity with incident response and digital forensics methodologies
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical logs and data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Washington state.
