EX Squared is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This role is dedicated to embedding security principles and practices directly into our DevOps lifecycle, ensuring our infrastructure and applications are secure by design.
What You'll Do
- Integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Build and maintain secure, compliant infrastructure as code
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning
- Monitor systems for security incidents and respond proactively
- Collaborate with development teams to champion secure coding practices
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a DevSecOps, Security Engineer, or DevOps role with a security focus
- Hands-on experience with cloud security controls and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools
- Familiarity with security tools for SAST, DAST, IAST, and vulnerability management
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and secure configuration management
Nice to Have
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+)
- Experience with policy-as-code and security automation platforms
- Background in software development or a strong understanding of the SDLC
