Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and remote technical support during product installations and customer evaluations
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrument performance issues in clinical laboratory environments
- Conduct training sessions for customers on proper operation of diagnostic systems
- Collaborate with sales teams to demonstrate product capabilities during customer presentations
- Validate instrument functionality following installation or service interventions
- Assist in method comparison studies between existing and new diagnostic platforms
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on field observations
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding assay performance and system integration
- Support validation of laboratory workflows under regulatory standards
- Maintain detailed records of field activities and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols during field operations
- Assist in preparing technical documentation for customer use
- Monitor post-installation performance and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with service engineers for complex repair scenarios
- Evaluate new product features in real-world laboratory settings
- Communicate technical specifications to non-technical stakeholders
- Support regulatory audits by providing field performance data
- Participate in pre-sales activities to assess customer laboratory needs
- Assist in developing application-specific protocols for assays
- Track customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
- Stay current with evolving diagnostic technologies and methodologies
- Promote best practices in laboratory operations and instrument use
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate internal teams
- Ensure timely follow-up on open support cases
- Support continuous improvement of field application processes
