Beckman Coulter is hiring a Scientist - Field Applications to provide essential technical support and education to customers across the region. You will ensure the successful adoption and use of Archer’s NGS product lines by delivering expert training, troubleshooting, and pre-sales technical consultation in a field-based capacity, directly driving customer satisfaction and retention.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and conduct Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation trainings for Archer products at customer sites.
- Provide remote customer education on library preparation and data analysis topics via video calls.
- Investigate and resolve post-sales customer inquiries and troubleshooting cases via email and phone.
- Collaborate with other members of the customer success team to discuss and resolve challenging cases.
- Assist the Sales team in pre-sales customer conversations requiring technical expertise.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Life Science industry or academic research, with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge of NGS library preparations and sequencing.
- At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving highly technical inquiries from customers or the scientific community.
- Fluent in English.
- Must live close to a major European travel hub.
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% within territory, with occasional international travel.
Nice to Have
- A Master's degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience in technical support or another customer-facing role with demonstrated relationship-management skills in the genomics industry.
- Experience working with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
