Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between quality assurance team and SAP functional experts for Quality Management and Compliance.
- Lead business process mapping and ensure alignment with global standards and SAP QM best practices tailored to local Japanese operations.
- Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with QA, manufacturing, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Translate quality and compliance needs into clear functional specifications and guide implementation, training and testing teams.
- Support system testing, data validation, and cutover activities from a quality operations perspective.
- Contribute to training materials and change management initiatives focused on quality teams.
- Ensure SAP QM processes support compliance, traceability, and audit-readiness within regulated environments, aligned with Japanese pharma and life science standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of QM with modules such as MM, PP, EWM, and PM.
Requirements
- Experienced Senior SAP QM Consultant
- Deep expertise in SAP Quality Management
- Knowledge of Japanese audit and regulation requirements
- Ability to bridge business and IT teams
- Ability to bridge cultural gap between global team and local Japanese operations and expectations
- Strong focus on quality process alignment, compliance, and operational readiness
- Experience in life sciences transformation programs
